COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Lamar High School varsity football team clinched the 2015 Class A Division II football state championship over the weekend with a 28-0 victory over C.E. Murray at Benedict College's Charlie W. Johnson Stadium.

The championship is Lamar High School's fourth in school history and first since 2004. The Silver Foxes finished the 2015 season with an 11-3 record.
