Mayo’s Jacobs earns first place at S.C. FBLA conference
DARLINGTON, S.C. – Chelsea Jacobs, a senior at Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology, took first place in competition recently during the South Carolina Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Conference.
Jacobs earned the award in the Impromptu Speaking category. The conference was held in Charleston. Jacobs is also senior class president and Miss Mayo High School for 2015-16.
The S.C. Future Business Leaders of America is a nonprofit organization that aims to prepare students across the state for careers in business-related fields.
