Hello, my name is Doris Brown. I have been teaching at Pate Elementary for 17 years. Presently, I am teaching kindergarten, but I have also taught first grade. I earned my Early Childhood Education Degree from Francis Marion University and a Masters Degree from the University of Phoenix in Curriculum and Instruction. Recently, I have attended classes for teaching the writing process to young writers. I am excited about what Pate is doing in preparing our students to become great writers (authors ) and readers!
My husband's name is James and we have been married for 40 years. We have four children, James, Michelle, Timothy and Dorissa. I have six grandchildren, and two great grandson.
