Dr. Eddie Ingram, who has 32 years of education experience, comes to Darlington
County from the Franklin County School District in North Carolina where
he served as its superintendent and was responsible for all aspects of
its operations and instructional programing.
Dr. Ingram has worked in public education in North Carolina for 32
years. In addition to his superintendent role, Dr. Ingram's education
experience includes working as a teacher, an elementary and high school
principal, an executive director for curriculum and instruction, an
executive director for secondary instruction, a personnel director, and a
consultant/section chief for the North Carolina Department of Public
Instruction. He was also an adjunct professor at Barton College,
Wesleyan College, and Louisburg College.
Dr. Ingram holds an associate degree in liberal arts from the College
of the Albemarle, a bachelor of science degree in secondary English
education from Old Dominion University, and a masters of education
degree in English Education from East Carolina University. He's also
earned an education specialist degree and a doctor of education degree
from East Carolina University.
