Friday, Sept. 30, will be an eLearning Day for DCSD

DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Due to forecasted severe weather, Friday, Sept. 30, will be an eLearning Day for all Darlington County School District (DCSD) students. All schools and district offices will be closed, and students and employees will work from home. Schools and teachers will send more information today to students regarding assignments and virtual office hours for tomorrow.
This decision is made in conjunction with information from both the Darlington County Emergency Management Department and state agencies. The primary concern is forecasted wind speeds for tomorrow will be too high for buses to be on the roadways.
Also, please remember next week is DCSD’s Fall Break from Oct. 3-7. Students will not have school next week and will return to school on Monday, Oct. 10.
